Responsibilities

• Engages guests in the lobby and promotes the outlet services found there
• Arranges special requests such as transportation, reservations or dry cleaning, or finds the right provider, and follows up to make sure guests are satisfied
• Shares local knowledge about the property, surrounding amenities, special events and local activities
• Contacts the right person or department, such as the bellperson, housekeeping or a food and beverage server, to resolve a guest call, request or problem
• Welcomes and acknowledges guests to company standards, anticipates their needs, assists individuals with disabilities and thanks guests with genuine appreciation
• Answers telephones with proper etiquette and prepares and reviews written documents accurately

Requirements

• Compliance with company policies and procedures, including completing safety training and certifications
• Reports of accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to the manager
• Clean, professional uniform and personal appearance
• Clear, professional language, positive working relationships and support for the team
• Confidentiality of proprietary information and protection of company assets
• Compliance with quality assurance expectations and standards
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects up to 10 pounds without assistance
• Willingness to take on other reasonable duties as requested

Preferred qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• At least 1 year of related work experience
• Supervisory experience is not part of the preferred profile
