Vendors are the day-to-day focus: the associate helps them learn Amazon’s tools, procure catalog content, resolve operational issues and raise their performance, including through face-to-face meetings with vendors, manufacturers and customers. The work links to in-stock managers, vendor managers, program managers and fulfillment partners, and records of all work performed must be kept accurately. The role may involve weekend work, though never more than a five-day week, and travel as needed. Responsibilities

• Guides vendors in using Amazon tools and supports their daily operations, such as purchase order management and shipment tracking
• Trains vendors on populating catalog content and on procurement processes
• Deals directly with vendors and other stakeholders to settle issues and lift performance
• Works with supply chain, fulfillment and planning teams on vendor performance and operational metrics
• Owns operational problems, analyzing the data and putting corrective actions in place
• Collects store-level pricing and promotions from vendors and loads them through internal tools
• Leads process improvement initiatives and takes part in stakeholder meetings

Requirements

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), or experience with Excel in particular
• Written and verbal communication that can convey complex concepts clearly
• Experience juggling several assignments against deadlines, or experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
• Nationality that meets the criteria set by Saudi local regulations for this position

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with procurement processes such as placing purchase orders, managing lead times and coordinating vendors
• Experience working with large, complex data sets
• Knowledge of SQL
• Previous experience at Amazon
