About the buyer job in Dhahran
The buyer supports the purchase of goods, services and subcontracts within cost, time and quality requirements and in line with company policies and standards. The office is at Amaad Business Park in Dhahran.
Responsibilities
- Issues requests for quotation to vendors based on purchasing requests, and supports vendors preparing technical and commercial proposals while keeping bid information confidential
- Leads the commercial and economic negotiation
- Prepares purchase orders and subcontracts based on the General Purchase Terms and Conditions and any Project Special Purchase Conditions, and manages possible deviations
- Manages contractual documentation until it goes to the centralized archive
Requirements
- Saudi nationality
- English and Arabic
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with the procurement process and incoterms
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with team members, clients and suppliers
Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge of SAP
