Responsibilities

• Stacks received goods on pallets or carts and moves empty pallets, cartons and waste to the proper storage areas
• Stores perishables correctly and rotates stock
• Fills in order forms for inventory and supply, and warns a manager or supervisor in good time when stock is running out
• Applies hygiene rules and handling procedures in all food-related areas, and cleans and disinfects fridges, freezers, floors, equipment and drains
• Reports accidents, injuries and hazardous working conditions to the manager and completes the required safety training and certifications
• Observes the chain’s policies and procedures, wears a clean, complete uniform, keeps hotel information confidential and protects company property

• Ability to lift, move or carry loads of up to 23 kg
• Ability to stretch, bend, turn and pull, to grasp and handle loads, and to climb stairs and service access routes
• Used to working standing, seated and on the move for long periods
