About the facility administrator job in Doha

The Engineering Facility Administrator supports the department’s day-to-day operations, with paperwork and coordination on one side and the engineering store on the other. The work extends to the regional files and to administrative matters for the regional director of engineering. Responsibilities

• Passes work orders to the technical staff and handles day-to-day secretarial work such as typing, filing, telexes, faxes and telephones
• Gets documents, letters and memos out on time, arranges internal and external appointments and translates incoming mail and documents when needed
• Files contracts, financial records and energy reports safely and helps maintain the regional files
• Follows up on monthly reports from the other hotels in the region and assists with administrative matters for the regional director of engineering
• Oversees how the department uses stationery and the photocopy machine
• Stores merchandise under proper conditions, checks quantities as deliveries arrive and keeps a labeled inventory system with minimum and maximum stock levels
• Issues goods only against completed, signed requisitions and records each one before giving a copy to the person collecting the items
• Checks the re-order list against physical stock before passing it to the DE or a delegate, and prepares the monthly store inventory report following the accounting rules for storekeeping
