About the parts supervisor job in Riyadh
The post sits in a logistics and supply chain team and reports directly to the Operations Manager, dealing with stakeholders across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the daily flow of goods through the Parts operation: receipt, checks, storage, picking and dispatch
- Watches inventory accuracy and stock control to keep operations efficient
- Keeps operations within QHSE standards
- Manages Parts resources, equipment and manpower against productivity targets, keeps equipment maintained and well used, and supports workforce planning, overtime and operational costs
- Leads, coaches and motivates Parts associates and MHE operators
- Coordinates with internal stakeholders and customers so service level agreements and KPIs are met
- Reviews Parts processes for continuous improvement and cost optimisation
Requirements
- Proven experience in Parts, logistics, procurement or transport operations, including supervising operational teams and leading Parts teams in a fast-moving operation
- Proficiency in Parts systems and inventory management, with knowledge of stock control, Parts KPIs and the operational, administrative and system processes behind them
- Excellent command of English
- Analytical, planning, decision-making and problem-solving skills, with strong organisation
- A customer-focused mindset committed to quality, safety and continuous improvement
- Communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle several priorities under pressure
Preferred qualifications
- E-commerce fulfilment experience, described as highly advantageous
