About the utilities senior supervisor job in Badr City

The scope covers water treatment plants, HVAC systems, steam generation, compressed air and electrical power distribution networks. The aim is an uninterrupted, cost-effective and safe supply of utilities for production and the facility, alongside optimization and sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manages preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance for critical utility equipment: boilers, chillers, cooling towers, compressors, diesel generators and RO/EDI water purification units
• Leads, mentors and schedules engineers, technicians and operators, and oversees external contractors and service providers against SLA, quality and safety standards
• Keeps operations compliant with EHS regulations, local government rules and industry rules such as GMP for food and pharma or ISO standards
• Tracks, analyzes and reports site consumption of electricity, gas and water, and designs and carries out energy conservation and carbon-footprint reduction initiatives
• Develops, monitors and optimizes the utilities department’s operational maintenance budget, looking for savings without hurting system reliability
• Gives technical expertise and leadership to engineering modifications, equipment upgrades, CapEx tracking and commissioning

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of HVAC networks, water chemistry, thermodynamics, electrical switchgears and automated building management systems (BMS / SCADA)
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role
• Hands-on familiarity with CMMS software such as SAP PM, IBM Maximo or similar
• Strong diagnostic and analytical troubleshooting skills
• Excellent cross-departmental communication, emergency breakdown management and vendor negotiation capabilities
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related discipline
