Projecs Engineering Consultancy needs a Project Controls & Scheduling Specialist (Planning Engineer) in Giza, Egypt, to support its ongoing projects in the U.S. market. Schedules built in Primavera P6 are the center of the work.
About the project controls & scheduling specialist job in Giza
The projects supported belong to the U.S. market, and the specialist works closely with the Engineering, BIM and site teams. Working hours run Monday to Friday with Saturday and Sunday off: men work 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM and women 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Builds and maintains project schedules in Primavera P6
- Tracks project progress and writes periodic performance reports
- Analyzes delays and helps shape recovery strategies
- Liaises with the Engineering, BIM and site teams
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Excel
- Bachelor’s degree from a governmental university, AUC, BUE, GUC or AAST
- Residence in Giza, Egypt
- Non-smoker
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
Preferred qualifications
- Background as a cost engineer or project control engineer with strong scheduling exposure
