Responsibilities

• Helps put configuration management and Infrastructure as Code into practice with Ansible, provisioning VMs, network and cloud resources across on-premises and Azure/M365 environments
• Supports container work: deploying workloads to Kubernetes and other container platforms, and troubleshooting services that are running
• Assists with managing and monitoring servers, networks and endpoints, and supports installing, configuring and maintaining operating systems and enterprise applications
• Writes up IT procedures, assets and incidents for the knowledge base

Requirements

• Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or any related field are also accepted for the degree
• Basic Windows and/or Linux operating system knowledge
• Familiarity with networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP
• Grasp of Active Directory and of managing user accounts
• Foundational understanding of containers and CI/CD concepts, and, at minimum, basic exposure to Kubernetes
• Soft skills: problem-solving and analytical thinking, communication and teamwork, time management and multitasking, attention to detail and quality, and readiness to learn and adapt as the IT environment moves fast

Preferred qualifications

• Knowledge of virtualization tools, for example VMware or Hyper-V
