In Amman, Siniora Food Industries P.L.C. has a vacancy for a Business Applications & AI Specialist, based in Sahab inside the King Abdullah II Bin Al-Hussein Industrial Estate. The job pairs ERP and Van Sales System support with the introduction of AI tools into the company’s business processes.

About the Business Applications & AI Specialist job in Amman

Beyond support for the ERP and the Van Sales System, the post includes database security and recovery, reporting in Power BI and Crystal Reports, and technical training for system users. The AI side is about finding where AI tools fit into the company’s existing applications and processes.

Responsibilities

• Administers and maintains the ERP systems, the Van Sales System and the mobile and business applications that go with them
• Resolves faults in the ERP and other software, and sorts out user-access problems
• Writes and tunes queries in Microsoft SQL Server and looks after database security, availability, backup and recovery
• Builds dashboards and reports in Power BI and Crystal Reports
• Monitors performance for reliability and security, and gives users technical support and training
• Identifies and rolls out AI tools and solutions that raise productivity and improve business processes
• Explores how AI can be integrated with the ERP and other business applications, and supports AI-based automation, plus reporting and analysis of data
• Promotes secure, effective use of AI tools throughout the company

Requirements

• Hands-on experience managing and querying Microsoft SQL Server, backed by solid knowledge of its administration
• Experience building Power BI and Crystal Reports dashboards, plus knowledge of Laserfiche ECM and mobile applications
• Working experience with AI tools, including Generative AI, and with automating business processes
• Broad IT grounding that spans technical support, hardware, software and networks, along with familiarity with how Windows networks and virtualized servers work
• Strong skills in troubleshooting, analysis and problem solving
• Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills, and the ability to give end users support and training
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, and the capacity to work on one’s own and prepare technical documentation
• Excellent command of English

Preferred qualifications

• Knowledge of how AI integrates with business applications and APIs
