Software development engineer (iOS) job details in Amman

Responsibilities
- Builds and maintains high-performance iOS applications and connects them with backend services
- Turns designs and wireframes into responsive apps, choosing suitable architectures and following usability best practices
- Writes clean, reusable, maintainable code that follows design patterns, SOLID principles and development standards, and recommends improvements to delivery, automation, processes and code quality
- Finds and fixes bugs, crashes, bottlenecks and other performance problems so the user experience stays stable
- Works with QA, engineers, developers and stakeholders, and takes part in Agile processes and design reviews
- Supports functional testing and keeps the documentation for features and components clear and useful
Requirements
- Solid command of iOS development, including several iOS versions and screen sizes, touch-based interfaces, UI principles and Apple Human Interface Guidelines
- Ability to convert business needs into technical solutions that drive impact, and to foster innovation
- Experience with push notifications, cloud messaging, offline storage, threading and RESTful APIs, and with the wider iOS and open-source ecosystem
- Proficiency with continuous integration and Git, acceptance criteria and code quality standards, plus delivering features on schedule
- Strong grasp of debugging, troubleshooting, benchmarking, algorithms and performance optimization
