Audits, SOPs and live compliance dashboards make up the brief of the Standard & Compliance Manager (Inflight Catering) that Qatar Airways is recruiting for Qatar Aircraft Catering Company (QACC) in Doha. The post covers in-flight meals, lounges and cafeterias, and leans heavily on digitizing how compliance is tracked.

About the standard and compliance manager job in Doha

The manager answers for QACC operations meeting internal standards, regulatory requirements and airline-specific rules. A large part of the work is building the tools for that: a digital audit-tracking system, centralized SOPs and KPI dashboards that senior leadership can open. The post also oversees on-the-job training, ramp operations compliance and continuous quality improvement, with corrective actions logged, tracked and closed.

Responsibilities

  • Builds and oversees a digital compliance tracking system for audit findings and closure timelines, with automated audit checklists for real-time visibility
  • Runs scheduled and surprise audits across all areas, checking adherence to QACC regulations and airline-specific requirements
  • Leads the digitization of SOPs across functions, keeping them consistent, version-controlled and updated in line with audit findings, operational feedback and best practice, and standardizes documentation processes
  • Creates a centralized dashboard system and periodic compliance and risk reports covering compliance scores, audit findings, training progress, quality metrics and improvement trends, so management has data for decisions
  • Develops a digital SOP training system and a training management system that tracks certifications, renewals and completion rates
  • Arranges structured training on above-the-wing and below-the-wing ramp operations and on ramp safety and security obligations
  • Establishes a feedback channel for operations teams to raise concerns and get real-time guidance, and runs a continuous improvement framework in which findings drive SOP and operational changes
  • Analyzes trends in audit results, customer feedback, complaints and airline audit feedback, shares them with stakeholders, and works with quality control to close process gaps and keep accountability high

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Economics, Business Analytics, Process Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of job-related experience
  • Experience in food safety, quality assurance, catering performance or compliance management, preferably in airline catering, hospitality or food production
  • Experience training staff on compliance, food safety and hygiene practice
  • Command of English
  • Strong analytical skills, innovative thinking and the ability to develop and implement SOPs for standardized operations
  • Knowledge of process improvement methods such as Lean or Six Sigma
  • Knowledge of Power BI and other IT tools for compliance tracking, KPI monitoring and dashboard reporting
  • Familiarity with QACC operations and requirements
