Responsibilities
- Prepares accurate, competitive quotations for sea, air and road freight
- Obtains and negotiates rates with shipping lines, airlines, transporters and overseas agents
- Coordinates shipments from booking through customs clearance and final delivery, and keeps customers updated on progress
- Reviews shipping documents together with internal teams and external partners
- Handles operational issues to keep shipments running smoothly
- Maintains pricing records, shipment reports and customer correspondence
Requirements
- Proven experience in freight pricing, quotations and shipment operations
- Good knowledge of sea freight, air freight and GCC road transportation
- Familiarity with shipping documentation and customs procedures
- Communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and MS Office
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and meet deadlines
