Responsibilities
- Sets department strategy, owns the yearly budget, forecasts manpower needs and pushes for cost-efficient use of resources
- Oversees procurement from start to finish, leads major bids and checks that vendor selection follows internal policies
- Tracks consumption trends together with stores and pharmacy logistics, manages expiry controls and pushes replenishment through the ERP
- Keeps up vendor relationships, follows SLA performance and makes suppliers answer for contract terms
- Applies standard operating procedures, limits supply chain risk and keeps to HSE standards
- Manages team performance, identifies successors and promotes cross-functional collaboration
Requirements
- Degrees in related fields are also accepted besides Business Administration and Supply Chain
- Solid grasp of procurement processes, inventory control, vendor management and healthcare compliance
- Hands-on proficiency with materials management systems, reporting and analytics, and team supervision
- Prior financial oversight or procurement operations experience
