Outdoor Sales

Visits and calls to current and prospective customers drive the Outdoor Sales vacancy at Zain Bahrain in Manama, listed as ZAIN1714 – Outdoor Sales – Business to Customer (B2C) in the Commercial division. The candidate needs a valid Bahrain driving license and a car of their own, and has to be able to join on a notice period of one month or less.

The post is meant to get the most out of a market segment in sales profitability, growth and account penetration, by selling Zain’s products well.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains relationships with current and prospective customers, identifies leads, manages prospects and acquires new business
• Phones and visits existing and prospective customers, and gives presentations to them
• Determines customer needs, proposes suitable services and drafts clear written proposals and quotations
• Aims to meet or exceed the new-business sales goals, and reviews weekly sales activity, goal progress and prospect status with the Consumer Sales Manager
• Completes customer service agreements, reports and other paperwork on time and in line with company policy
• Keeps up with market behavior and competitive trends and responds to them, while giving management oral and written reports on customer needs, problems and interests, competitor activity, and the potential for new products and services
• Speeds up the resolution of customer problems and complaints, coordinating the sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups
• Takes part in trade shows and conventions, and performs other related tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills
• A valid Bahrain driving license and a car of one’s own
• Proficiency in English, Hindi and Malayalam
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Ability to join on a notice period of one month or less
• Active listening, correct reading of customer requirements, and teamwork aimed at solutions that benefit all parties
• Customer focus and support, selling skills, products and services knowledge, relationship management and negotiation skills
