Senior full stack developer job details in Damascus
The work centers on Paymera’s payment systems. The post is based at the Damascus Free Zone and runs Sunday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Builds and maintains APIs and scalable web applications for Paymera’s payment systems
- Develops both the frontend and backend of enterprise applications
- Works with UI/UX designers on user-friendly experiences
- Writes testable, maintainable code, reviews colleagues’ code and takes part in Agile sprints
- Troubleshoots and debugs applications, then tunes them for performance, reliability and scalability
- Keeps systems secure and in compliance with payments-industry standards
- Coordinates with QA, product, integration, backend and infrastructure teams
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with ASP.NET, .NET Framework and .NET Core
- Proven experience with RESTful APIs and scalable web applications
- A history of delivering enterprise solutions
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern web frameworks
- Basic knowledge of databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle or MySQL
- Git for source control, plus an understanding of the SDLC and Agile methods
- Strong skills in analysis, problem solving and teamwork
- A degree in a related field is accepted too
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in FinTech, banking, payment systems or any other highly regulated field
- Familiarity with microservices and API integrations
- Some exposure to cloud platforms and CI/CD practices
