Responsibilities

• Marking subject exams on the department’s schedule and with its materials, and proctoring exams when asked
• Supporting and motivating students who are struggling academically
• Taking student discipline and academic-performance issues to the Academic Quality Controller (AQC) and the Head of Department (HOD) when needed
• Preparing for and taking part in student life events such as art, open houses and physical education, alongside the Student Life Coordinator (SLC)
• Handling extra school duties, among them testing students, covering for absent teachers, getting students to lunch and onto buses, managing crowds and traffic, plus other administrative work as assigned
• Attending the SABIS system training that School Management requests, and taking on other tasks it delegates

Requirements

• English proficiency, with native English required for the Infant and English Teacher positions
• Pedagogy degree
• Meeting all employment requirements, including the education and certification rules that apply at country and local level, checks on references and a criminal background check
• Teamwork and communication, flexibility and adaptability, ownership and accountability, ethical and professional conduct, ongoing learning and improvement, delivering results, time and priority management, and job knowledge with technical skills
