The Crowne Plaza Kuwait Al Thuraya City, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, needs a Laundry Attendant – CP in Kuwait City, Kuwait. The role sorts and loads laundry, feeds the flat-work ironer and keeps machines at the right temperature, pressure and water level.

The post is in the hotel’s laundry department, handling both hotel and guest laundry from sorting through to machine care. Safety and compliance with the FLS Policy are written into the duties.

Responsibilities

• Sorts hotel and guest laundry for washing and helps load, unload and transfer items between machines
• Feeds laundry into the flat-work ironer
• Adds chemicals on time and in the right quantity, and keeps temperature, pressure and water level correct
• Keeps machines and work areas free of lint and the whole laundry department clean
• Complies with FLS legislation and policy by reading and implementing the relevant sections of the FLS Policy and signing the Employees’ Declaration
• Uses safety equipment such as gloves, goggles, aprons, overalls and shoes with care, and avoids horseplay, pranks and tampering with safety provisions
