Beauty Advisor/Sales

Ghawi Trading Company (GTC) needs a Beauty Advisor/Sales for its Yves Rocher team at City Mall in Amman. The engagement lasts one to two months, and the day mixes advising customers on skincare and beauty items with store tasks such as cashiering and stock receiving.

The advisor works within the Yves Rocher team at City Mall, where an advisor’s sales results add to the store’s overall performance. Brand standards also set the bar for how the store, its products and its testers are kept.

Responsibilities

• Works out what each customer needs and recommends suitable items across personal care, beauty and skincare
• Demonstrates how each product works and how to use it properly, backed by strong knowledge of the Yves Rocher range, promotions and new collections
• Builds relationships with customers so they return and stay loyal, and deals with their inquiries and complaints professionally
• Aims for the daily and monthly sales targets, joins promotional activities and supports the store’s KPIs
• Handles cashiering and POS transactions, receives stock and helps with inventory control
• Replenishes shelves and keeps products displayed in line with visual merchandising standards
• Keeps the store clean, products hygienic and testers presentable to brand standards

Requirements

• Previous retail sales experience
• Good command of Arabic and English
• Flexibility with the mall’s operating hours, including weekends and holidays
• Customer service, communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to read what a customer needs and suggest suitable products
• Sales and upselling skills to meet personal and store targets, plus an understanding of retail KPIs and performance goals
• Enthusiasm for beauty and skincare, with a willingness to keep developing product knowledge
• Professional appearance, positive attitude and close attention to detail, with the ability to work independently or within a team

Preferred qualifications

• Retail background in beauty or cosmetics, skincare or personal care products
• Familiarity with basic store operations and POS systems
