The role has three connected parts: selling to customers, supporting the technical side of each order, and keeping stock accurate. The technician works with opticians and the sales team, and carries individual sales targets while supporting the store’s overall performance.

Responsibilities

• Identifies what each customer needs and recommends frames, lenses, CL and sunglasses
• Drives conversion, upselling, cross-selling and promotions toward individual sales targets
• Answers customer inquiries and basic complaints while building relationships and loyalty
• Reads prescriptions and supports basic fitting, adjustments and product selection, with technical help for opticians when needed
• Verifies that the prescription, fitting and product specifications match the order, and fixes problems before handover
• Enters transactions into the POS system and supports insurance approvals and the related documentation
• Keeps stock accurate, handles products properly and reports shortages, damages and discrepancies
• Works with the team toward store targets, supports opticians and sales colleagues at peak times and follows company policies and safety standards

Requirements

• Strong sales and customer service skills
• Basic understanding of optical and technical processes
• Good knowledge of POS and insurance systems
• Attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset
• Team player who can work under pressure
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Arabic
• SCFHS license or certification
