Responsibilities

• Shoots photography and video for multiple brands, working from creative concepts and briefs developed with the team, for social media, advertising campaigns, websites and other digital platforms
• Covers product, lifestyle, fashion, food, interiors and commercial shoots, adapting style to each industry, product and brand identity
• Brings concepts to life through composition, lighting, camera movement, framing and visual storytelling, and offers creative suggestions during shoots
• Directs models and talent on photo and video shoots, talks with clients on set and resolves technical or creative problems as they arise
• Prepares and maintains the camera, lighting and audio equipment so it is ready for every shoot, in the studio or on location
• Organizes, labels and uploads all photos and footage to the company’s file management system so the editing and creative teams can find them
• Supervises the video editor with clear direction, creative references and feedback, and reviews edited videos and final photographs for storytelling, composition, color grading, sound, pacing and transitions
• Owns the quality of final photo and video deliverables against the brief, brand standards and client expectations

Requirements

• A strong portfolio showing professional photography, videography and artistic visual storytelling
• Advanced command of professional mirrorless cameras, lenses, studio and continuous lighting, flash systems, light modifiers, gimbals, tripods and audio recording equipment, with a firm grasp of exposure, color temperature and camera movement
• Proven experience shooting across multiple industries and adapting to different visual styles
• Strong understanding of social media content production, particularly Instagram Reels, commercial videos, professional photography and digital campaigns
• Experience directing or supervising video editors and overseeing post-production quality
• Strong creative judgment, attention to detail and problem-solving, with the ability to work independently and stay calm when on-set problems come up
• Excellent organizational, time-management and communication skills, including handling a high volume of work to deadlines
• Proficiency in English, which the ad calls mandatory

Preferred qualifications

• Professional experience in an agency or commercial content creation environment
• Arabic proficiency, described as highly preferred
