The post sits in the Creative department and works with the Marketing team and cross-functional colleagues. As one of the brand writers, the copywriter shapes brand content and the customer experience, with the customer journey and mindset in view.

Responsibilities

• Writes copy that carries the brand’s voice in daily tasks and campaigns, in line with its editorial voice and positioning
• Conceptualizes campaign messaging frameworks and writes executional messaging for e-commerce pages, digital marketing assets, OOH, VM, CRM and other channels
• Shapes campaign concepts together with the creative team
• Writes content for product launches, promotions, beauty advice and trends
• Tracks industry trends and brings concepts that keep the brand fresh and competitive
• Edits and proofreads copy, keeping customer pain points in mind so people grasp each brand and its value propositions

Requirements

• Ability to write copy in English and Arabic
• Strong storytelling skills and the knack of weaving facts into engaging copy
• Ability to carry projects from concept to completion, balancing the big picture with fine detail
• Original thinking
• Capacity to handle several projects at once, with attention to detail and deadlines
• Interpersonal skills for working across teams toward shared goals in creative, collaborative settings
• Comfort working independently as well as taking direction
