The manager works with Marketing, Brand, Corporate Communications, Customer Experience and Operations to keep digital services reliable for passengers. Responsibilities

• Leads development, launch and ongoing support of passenger-facing web, mobile and digital platforms, owning each solution end to end
• Manages a team of software developers and designers, sets priorities and builds capability through coaching and knowledge sharing
• Builds the technology strategy and roadmap for the assigned business area with stakeholders, turning business requirements into digital capabilities that improve passenger experience and efficiency
• Applies Agile ways of working and introduces AI-enabled software engineering practices to speed up development and raise quality
• Keeps business-critical platforms available in a 24/7 airport environment, leading the response to major incidents and the restoration of services
• Runs technology programs and projects to agreed timelines, cost and quality, with planning, reporting, risk management and stakeholder engagement
• Oversees vendors, hosted services, service contracts and service-level commitments
• Prepares business cases, cost estimates, budgets and investment priorities, and checks that systems meet IT governance, information security and data-protection requirements

Requirements

• Experience leading IT projects, including at least 3 years delivering a large technology work program
• Background in application development, implementation and support management
• Experience managing software development teams and digital solution delivery, with the ability to delegate, set direction and manage workflow
• Experience delivering business-to-consumer web or mobile products in Agile environments
• Strong program-management and enterprise system-support skills, plus experience managing vendors, hosted services and service-level commitments
• Strong leadership, stakeholder-management, communication, mentoring and coaching skills
• Strong influencing, negotiation, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent command of English

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Commerce, Science or a related discipline
• ITIL or recognized project-management certification
• Airline, airport or aviation industry experience
• Digital product delivery on high-volume customer platforms, or work in a technology start-up
