The server works alongside the Pool & Beach, Culinary and Stewarding teams, looking after guests at the poolside and beachfront facilities of Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay.
Responsibilities
- Welcomes guests at the pool and on the beach, presents menus, takes orders and suggests dishes and drinks
- Delivers food and drinks promptly, to the required accuracy and quality
- Watches for guests’ needs and anticipates requests before they are made
- Sets up and restocks towels, amenities, beverage stations and dining areas, and keeps the service stations clean and organized
- Processes guest checks and cashless payments following company procedures
- Keeps to food safety and hygiene rules as well as general health and safety standards
- Passes guest feedback, concerns and maintenance issues to the supervisor without delay
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A guest-service attitude that is positive and professional
- Ability to work at a fast pace outdoors and in varying weather
- Flexibility for shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Good command of English
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods and carry service trays safely
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in a resort, beach club or luxury hospitality environment
