Responsibilities

• Greets and acknowledges guests in line with company standards, anticipates their service needs, assists guests with disabilities, and thanks them
• Enters and retrieves information in computer databases and point of sale systems to update records, files and reservations and to answer guests’ inquiries
• Drafts letters, memos and similar documents with word-processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation tools, and reviews written documents for accuracy and completeness
• Sorts the mail coming in and going out, stamping the date on arrivals and distributing them
• Maintains computer-based and paper filing systems, and compiles, copies, sorts and files records of office activities and business transactions
• Sends information and documents by computer, mail or fax, operates everyday office machines apart from computers, and answers telephones with proper etiquette
• Builds positive working relationships, supports the team toward common goals, and responds appropriately to colleagues’ concerns
• Follows company policies and procedures, including uniform and appearance standards, keeping proprietary information confidential and protecting company assets
