Responsibilities

• Leads the daily running of injection molding and injection blow molding machines, with advanced troubleshooting and technical support for the equipment and its auxiliary systems
• Monitors machine performance and applies corrective actions to reduce downtime and protect availability and efficiency
• Works with the Production, Quality, Maintenance and Engineering departments to settle technical issues
• Optimizes molding parameters for quality and productivity, leads root cause analysis of deviations, defects and equipment failures, and drives improvement initiatives that cut waste, scrap and operating costs
• Takes part in mold trials for new molds, in validating machines and in qualifying processes, including FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ and PQ activities when applicable
• Assists with preventive and predictive maintenance programs, coordinates machine installations, upgrades and modifications, and keeps technical, maintenance and process-change records in order
• Oversees the technicians and operators in the molding area, running training sessions and knowledge transfer on troubleshooting, machine setup and process control, and promotes a culture of safety, quality and operational excellence
• Keeps work in line with GMP, GDP, ISO requirements, company policies and HSE requirements, and takes part in audits and CAPA action plans

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with injection molding and injection blow molding machines in a medical, pharmaceutical or food manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of molding processes, machine troubleshooting and process optimization
• Experience with automation systems, PLCs, sensors and auxiliary molding equipment
• Ability to lead technical teams and manage cross-functional projects, backed by strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication in English and Arabic
• An equivalent qualification in place of either engineering degree

Preferred qualifications

• ARBURG certification covering its molding technologies
• Familiarity with medical manufacturing requirements, GMP, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
• Experience with preventive maintenance and reliability improvement programs
• Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement experience
