The role implements and enforces occupational health and safety programs to prevent accidents and keep the plant within regulatory standards, with advanced risk assessment and a safety-first culture at its center. Responsibilities
- Implements and enforces occupational health and safety programs and initiatives to prevent accidents and meet regulatory standards
- Carries out risk assessments, including Bow-Tie, and applies process safety standards
- Leads incident investigations as a certified investigator and tracks assigned actions through to closure
- Oversees critical lifting and rigging operations and pressure testing of equipment and systems
- Takes part in packaging and assembling gas turbines and compressors
- Manages contractors and subcontractors and maintains environmental compliance across activities
- Uses HSE software for reporting and documentation
