Responsibilities

• Calculates and analyzes product costs across printing, lamination, slitting and pouch-making operations

• Compares actual costs with standard costs, investigates the causes of differences and recommends corrective actions
• Reviews bills of materials, production orders and inventory transactions for correct cost allocation, and supports the valuation and reconciliation of raw materials, work in progress and finished goods
• Prepares monthly cost reports, product profitability analyses and management reports
• Supports month-end closing by reconciling manufacturing cost records with the financial accounts, and keeps costing data accurate in the ERP system
• Contributes to budgeting, forecasting, quotation preparation and pricing decisions with the production, procurement, warehouse and finance teams, and supports internal and external audits

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost analysis, standard costing, overhead allocation and variance analysis
• Practical understanding of flexible packaging materials and production processes
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel
• Analytical skills, and the ability to turn production and financial data into actionable reports
• Attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality and professional integrity
• Communication and coordination skills across operational and financial teams

Preferred qualifications

• Hands-on SAP experience, particularly in manufacturing costing and inventory-related processes
• A relevant professional accounting certification
