About Decree

Decree Tech LLC, an Omani start-up, aims to make legislation accessible to society through technology. Its Qanoon.om platform is described as a daily go-to for Omani laws in Arabic among judges, lawmakers, lawyers and the wider public.

Its second product, Decree.om, is a database the company calls the largest and most complete of its kind in Oman. It combines Decree Legislation (laws, regulations, royal decrees and ministerial decisions), Decree Intel (summaries of cases, explanatory notes and further legal research on Oman), Decree Lex AI (an AI assistant for researching Omani legislation) and Decree Risk (tools that follow company liquidations and similar corporate risk events). Law firms in Oman, both local and international, rely on it along with in-house legal teams, and the company says its newly launched Saudi products are growing rapidly.
