About the Interview Simulator

The simulator asks one question at a time, as in a real interview, with an optional timer. At the end you get a report: your average score, the time you took per question, timer overruns, and the two questions to focus on next.

When to use the Interview Simulator?

When you want to practice a whole session that feels like a real interview: one question after another without stopping, perhaps with a time limit. It suits the days before an interview, after you have reviewed your questions.

How to use the Interview Simulator?

  1. Enter your job title and level, and paste the job ad if you have it.
  2. Choose the number of questions and the timer.
  3. Press “Start the simulation” and answer each question as you would speak.
  4. Review the report and practice the weakest answers again.

How to read the result

The session ends with a final report that compares your answers and shows what needs more practice. Run the simulation again, focusing on your two weakest answers.

Tips for a better result

  • Turn on the timer if you want realistic pressure, and leave it off at the start of your practice.
  • Paste the real posting so your practice is built on its requirements.
  • Answer in the style and length you will really speak, not as you would write in a report.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Moving quickly to the next question without a serious attempt at answering.
  • Closing the page before copying the report; the session is not saved.
  • Repeating the simulation again and again without reviewing the report and fixing the weak answers.

Note: The simulator is text practice inside the browser and does not replace practicing out loud with another person.

Frequently asked questions
