About the ATS Score Pro

ATS Score Pro rates your CV on seven weighted criteria: structure and sections, contact details, keywords, impact and achievements, readability, formatting safety and title clarity. Every fix is ranked by the points it is expected to add, so you know what to do first.

When to use the ATS Score Pro?

When you want a sharper picture than the quick checklist: which areas pull your score down and in what order to fix them. It suits those applying to large companies where automated screening is heavier, or those who got an acceptable result in the basic checker and want to know what comes next.

How to use the ATS Score Pro?

  1. Enter the target title.
  2. Paste your CV and, ideally, the job ad.
  3. Press “Run the advanced check”.
  4. Work through the fixes from the top of the list.

How to read the result

You get an overall score split across seven areas: structure, contact details, keywords, impact, readability, formatting safety and title clarity, with a fix list ordered by effect on the total score. Read the weakest areas first.

Tips for a better result

  • Start with any area below 60; raising a weak area improves the score more than polishing a good one.
  • Write the target title as it appears in the posting, since title clarity is one of the seven areas.
  • Check again after every fix to see its effect and to make sure the change did not weaken another area.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Leaving out the job posting in the third field, so the keywords area is measured with nothing to compare against.
  • Treating the overall score as a goal in itself instead of reading the reason behind each area.
  • Improving only the look, such as fonts and colors, and leaving the content of the achievements as it is.

Note: The score is based on seven general criteria, and each hiring system reads resumes in its own way.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the job ad matter?

Keywords carry a large weight. Without an ad, the tool estimates keywords from your field, which is less precise.
